I attended this weeks web conference, and was on time. I live in Oregon and mistakenly calculated one hour difference between PDT and CDT last week. Needless to say I was one hour late. I enjoyed the interaction between Professor Borel and the members of the cohort. I liked putting a face with the names and writings I see on the discussion board. It was nice to see all of you.
We went over the new admissions policy, I wish I had known this before taking and paying for the GRE. We reviewed our degree plan, the sequence of required courses. The internship requirement was detailed briefly as well as a critique of the first week performance from the cohort as a whole, and some advice as to time management practices to be successful, much appreciated. Thank you.
There were some technical difficulties, my video segment included. I did troubleshoot and solve the problem. This is all learning and I am becoming, if not relaxed, less anxious.
